Lisa Eldridge Beauty review: "I tried £250 worth of makeup from the legendary makeup artist-created brand"
If it's good enough for Dua Lipa, it's good enough for us
Lately, it feels like celebrities and influencers are launching beauty brands left, right, and centre (with Hailey Bieber's, Rhode and Selena Gomez's, Rare Beauty being just two examples). Yet when celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge, launched her namesake brand in 2018, I wasn’t mad at it.
It made sense (especially when she started with her now iconic velvet lipsticks). Since then the brand has grown; offering everything from complexion products to eyeshadow palettes.
Lisa was the makeup artist who taught me how to expertly cover my breakouts on YouTube when I experienced my first bout of acne and now serves as my calming ASMR beauty guru to lull me into sleep when my insomnia acts up. So, to say I have a soft spot for her would be an understatement.
Her decades-long career is legendary, and spans everything from getting Dua Lipa ready for the latest red carpet to jaw-droppingly beautiful beauty shoots I used to tear out of magazines as a keepsake. So, it’s safe to say she knows her stuff.
I’ve gradually been adding to my designated ‘Lisa Eldridge Beauty collection’ steadily as each launch has been dropped, as a result, many of these products I’ve been using for months (if not years), so my testing procedure has been rather thorough if I do say so myself.
Here’s my whistle-stop review of Lisa Eldridge’s beauty brand…
